Overview:
In the previous method to contact an IT Infrastructure (formerly known as Hardware) support technician , you went to the SharePoint page and looked who is on call. The new method is much easier. 

Objective:
You will learn how to get after-hours IT Infrastructure support. 

Steps:

  • Go to support.camincargo.com.
  • in the top right of the screen locate the link "Go to the Support Desk Portal". 
  • Click that link to bring up a new window with the login screen.
  • Log in with your Camin Cargo Control network ID and password.
  • Submit a ticket.

  • It is that easy! After hours support in built into the new Support Desk. IT Infrastructure support technicians get an alert on important support cases submitted after hours. There are even escalations that automatically occur so that your ticket is escalated up the chain until resolved. 


 
 


Precautions:
Always make sure you are accessing the correct website. A simple misspelling or reversal of letters can bring up a site that looks like the one you are trying to access but is a malicious website.
